The insurance company VSP is sponsoring the event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Transitions Projects Inc., Monday – Thursday, September 15th, located at 665 N.W. Hoyt St. The company expects to have three optometrists on-site to serve those who show up. Those who can’t be seen because of a time crunch will be given gift certificates to use at a VSP-affiliated clinic.
The clinic is open to both adults and children, who will be examined on a first-come, first-served basis. A spokeswoman said no one will have to show identification or proof that they lack insurance.
