Anderson students, staff members and parents have been raising money for three years to build a path around their playground. The school’s Parent-Teacher Association has raised $40,000 to date. This week, the PTA received the good news that Nike donated $20,000 through its foundation, which gets them to the amount they need to pay for the project. Construction on the fitness path should begin this summer.
